Ah,,,,,, the lure of a bb gun........The Red Ryder 220 shot bb gun that was featured in A Christmas Story circa 1940's was all boys fantasy.........Mine (fantasy) was the Daisy lever action 650 shot.....The movie was released in the early eighties and immediately became a family fave......The idea of a neighbor willing to shoot at the boys going across their lawns was considered an act of war.........No one in their right mind would do that in my neighborhood.........It was vicious enough............

HAHAHA. There was some old dude in Hamilton, OH who, rumor had it, would shoot salt pellets at the kids when they walked on his lawn. I never saw it, but I never walked on his lawn either!
