Sometimes......................

Sometimes I drift back to memories of the Music City Miracle, the earthquake during the Reds/Athletics series, Smokin' Joe rockin' Ali late in the evening, and of course, thinking of how close we came to a world series a few years back.....................Now thanks to Sports Illustrated, we can go back and stir the pot,,,,,,,,,, er,,,,,, swig a few,,,,er,,,,,,,,,read the stories and look at the pics of all the past issues....................
I grew up surrounded by sportsmen and sports fans, ones who loves the games and would go to games and cheer the lil' ones on.............Heck, I think they just wanted to see us pound each other, and toughen up each other before doing our country's dirty work.............They knew our time could be short on this field of life............Just as their fathers before them...................Heroes in their minds..................
