Grimey's says Celebrate Cinco de Mayo With Us

Man, have we got an amazing day in store for you this Saturday! You’re sure to be ecstatic and enthralled if not downright giddy at the prospect of this much great music, food, drink, bargains galore and just plain good times with good friends. We’ve pulled out all the stops to make this our best festival event yet. WRVU just informed us that they’ll be giving away some sweet prizes at their booth – a limited edition Bloc Party goodie bag from Puma and tickets to the Polyphonic Spree, Ben Gibbard, The Rapture, and Cursive shows! Baja Burrito is bringing the tex mex eats, Yazoo is bringing the beer truck, we just added a margarita machine to the mix plus we’ll have plenty of ice cold water and soft drinks. Did I mention the sale? Everything in the store will be on sale starting at 11am with special deep discounts on select merchandise plus our infamous selection of crazy bargains in the dollar LP and $2 CD bins out in the parking lot. The live music kicks off at noon and continues until 8pm. Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring your wallet! We’ll also be giving away prize packages throughout the day from some of our distributor and record label pals. Local Honey, the Nashville Roller Girls, Radio Free Nashville, the Southern Girls Rock N’ Roll Camp, Nashville Shakespeare Festival peeps, and Grand Palace Silkscreen will also have booths set up and they’re lookin’ forward to meetin’ ya. Can your heart stand it?!!
