Game two Giants at Cubs L 4-2

Got down to Wrigley Field again very early for I wanted to have my picture taken in the daylight at the Harry Caray statue out on the corner of Addison and Sheffield.........So after the photo shoot, I walked around the stadium............This is the Clark Street side with the players parking lot, with lots of adoring fans looking for an auto.........

This is the fire station on Waveland Avenue.........The engines and the sirens can be heard going off during most of the games, its amazing sitting here now at the house listening to the WGN broadcast and hearing the sirens............

Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs have a secure bike check garage for all of us peddlers.......

Wind was blowing in all day and during the early evening game...........15-20 mph...........Warm though.........This is the backside of center field at Sheffield and Waveland......

This fella I stopped and interviewed......He looked like a fixture......I inquired as to who he was and how long he has been standing on this corner ball hawking, on Waveland , behind left field......He is Mo Mullins and he grew up on the block and has been ball hawking since 1958......He has a few boxes of balls that he is to donate to the Cubs organization for the new museum they are to build........He is a well known man on the street there........

Lou Pinella and another coach during batting practice..................Lou is the man , I we believe he will have these guys back into the playoffs this year............Lou is doing a very good job as the first year skipper...........

Scoreboard shows the top of the eighth inning 2-2...Giants score two late to take the W......

Barry aka Prima Donna Bonds came up to bat, switch hitting one at bat, late in the game.....Only to fly out to A Soriano in left field..........The crowd booed him mercifully......

Took the CTA bus back to my car parked on west Addison and then drove back down to Merriville..........bummed out that we lost.............Oh well, we will beat those dang Giants tomorrow..................In all actuality,,, we play the St Louis Cardinals tonight........Tuesday July 24th..................
