IRL racing is just around the corner..................And it looks to be a good year for a trip to the Kentucky Speedway in August, on the ninth............Never have been there and we have been wanting to get out and see another track..............Forget NASCAR..................I did not like the smells at the Brickyard, oh, the track was swell, it was the smell of leaded gas being used that got to me............We had talked of Talladega, which is not far, and of Bristol..........I just cannot put up with the smell....sorry............
So maybe we may be off to Kentucky..................Will let you know and will have plenty of pics to share..........The 500 at Indy this year has camping set up and ready to go.......We have a camp site for Thur,Fri,Sat,and Sunday eve..........What a blast it is to camp at that track........ONE BIG PARTY!!!!!!
I am gonna root for Helio this year, am a sucker for those Penske drivers and the crew........Now IF Tony Kanaan picks it up a lil' this year I will be rooting for him also.............Looks as tho Andretti Green is gonna have four cars again this year.......If only Tony George and the Champ circuit could get together and field a large amount of race cars at all of the tracks, things will surely get more interesting..............
